The Visionary Revolution

In this article the underlying philosophy behind this site, and an appeal to all our soul mates to participate in the battle for the future of the Netherlands and humanity.

The people behind visionair.nl started this website with the aim of making a difference, freeing people up and realizing their potential. We humans were not born to toil from nine to five - or worse - in jobs that tarnish our dignity, squander the laborious money on useless knick-knacks, and hang comatosely in front of the weeping pipe. It is our birthright and our sacred commission to love ourselves and our fellowmen as ourselves, thus creating a world around us that does justice to the human dignity of ourselves and others.

It is time now to maximize human potential and put an end to poverty, suffering, disease and want.

The first phase in the existence of this website, in which Visionair assumed the guise of a weblog, was aimed at attracting a group of visionary interested readers. This seems to have worked well in the meantime. We are pleased to note that around a thousand people follow us every day and we once have as many changing visitors every day. At the moment, behind the scenes, we are working hard on the next step, setting up an online community in which the visitors and commenters on visionair.nl can develop into directly involved parties and we can let the embryonic community of visionaries that we now have. Growing into a close-knit group of visionaries.

The aim of the second phase is to arrive at a group of people who do not think in terms of limitations, but in terms of possibilities. Those who realize that the only thing that keeps us from recreating the Earth in paradise is a lack of guts and imagination. Most of us live in an environment of narrow-minded people who don't understand us, don't want to understand us because that would erode the very foundations of our existence. The time of these people has passed and the time when people like us will determine the future has come. No longer will fear, hatred and narrow-mindedness determine the future, but hope, creativity and trust. Trust in a better and more prosperous future that, when we consider human history spanning over a million years, is more than justified. Each generation has been better off than the generation before them and the best time for mankind is yet to come.

We are now waiting for the social platform to come online on which we can collaborate and shape our community of Visionaries. On behalf of all, we call on you to join in and think about how we can transform this world into a more sustainable, better and more humane place. Man was born to be free. We call on you all to claim your inalienable birthright.

    1. At present, there are several ways in which the era of abundance can take shape. This ranges from a dystopian hell in which a small elite monopolizes all resources, introduces a police state and curbs all democratizing technology, to a world where there will be wealth for everyone. Only if we take targeted action will that second world come. The forces that want to maintain and increase their power and influence are strong.

      1. I hadn't looked at it that sharply yet. But that is indeed what it seems to be about: the struggle over the distribution of wealth or well-being that time can bring abundance. The euro crisis seems to be a good example of this struggle. Globalization also seems to be such a tool of the elite, which results in a global erosion of the middle class, making you belong to the elite or the lower class. The middle class is no longer there. This will have major consequences for democracy, for example. Here is an interesting conversation on Nederland 2 last Sunday about this topic: http://programma.vpro.nl/gesprekop2/afleveringen/2012-2/aflevering-9-saskia-sassen.html

  1. We have come a long way in the time of less narrow-mindedness and more fantasy. For example, just look at all the different groups that we have, the steampunks, the cybergothics, the gentlemans and of course the (normal is a subjective concept of course) normal people. What we need to do now is not only allow the acceptance of human choices to happen to us, but also the acceptance of new facts, new science, a new society.

  2. Germen, I have some trouble with a few lines, namely: Most of us live in an environment of narrow-minded people who don't understand us, don't want to understand us because that would erode the very foundations of our existence. The time of these people has passed and the time when people like us will determine the future has come. No longer will fear, hatred and narrow-mindedness determine the future, but hope, creativity and trust. As I see it, you are going to consciously distinguish here. Not every person has developed the ability to think and act in a visionary way. In addition, we cannot do without these people, although they could only serve as a reflection (yes, now I am going to degenerate myself :-(). Is it not allowed to remain open source? And maybe I can also make a contribution ?! :-D I'm curious Mvg Paul.

    1. I think that in principle we can do without those people, although our hope is of course that they too will master a visionary thinking style.

This just takes a lot of energy. At some point you have to let those people cook in their own water and work in freedom with kindred spirits for a world of abundance, in which we can make all our dreams come true.

      1. I think a lot of people would like to be guided by visionary people as long as you develop things that also increase their survival. What you mainly see now is that a small top elite is trying to expand their own power and influence even further at the expense of entire countries. They do this through the money system, the mainstream media, psychological control, etc.

For the details of who these elite are and which instruments they apply, see
        http://www.visionair.nl/ideeen/wereld/the-liberty-academy/

But there are a relatively large number of people compared to a relatively large number of people who do not realize at all that they are being kept stupid expressly from a kind of cultural programming ...

I think a lot of people in our current world feel fine that we live in some kind of empty materialistic make-up world. It is not without reason that there is so much to the Prozac. Now the system pretends that the problem resides in those people instead of the system itself being the problem, but with awareness and action from that new consciousness to a more beautiful and better world, that changes automatically. At least I hope :-)

      2. "Most of us live in an environment of narrow-minded people who don't understand us, don't want to understand us because that would destroy the very foundations of their existence."

I see myself as someone who thinks a lot about “life”, in both a philosophical and scientific sense. I have a natural curiosity, more than most people around me. But I do not experience people who have such “depth” as narrow-minded. Ultimately, there is only one goal in life: happiness. And preferably in such a way that your environment does not deteriorate, or can even benefit from it. Everyone does that in their own way.

To be honest, I think articles like this sound a bit evangelical and pretentious. So it seems that you simply, like many others before you, have found a way to put yourself above others. “We see through what the large crowd cannot or does not want to see through”. I see little “revolutionaries” or “visionaries” in this, but mostly self-aggrandizement and at the same time dissatisfaction with one's own situation.

To your question how you can make the world “better”, I think the following answer is appropriate: sensation. Be aware of yourself, of the people around you, and train this to cultivate spiritual discipline. Be an example by what you do, not what you say or think. Hopefully the result will be compassion for yourself, your fellow man and your environment. All you can do is hope that this environment will be inspired by this and will do the same. A wonderful example of this is Mother Teresa or the Dalai Lama.

When I read this piece, with the caption “It is time to realize the human potential to the maximum and to put an end to poverty, suffering, disease and want”, I was reminded of an observation made by, for example, de Botton and the Dalai Lama . Our (Western) culture of comfort and technological developments has increasingly developed the idea that “suffering” does not belong in society, and is a kind of anomaly. That is unhealthy. It is wonderful that we can fight diseases and that we live in prosperity, but it also threatens to neglect the essence of human suffering. People suffer and will always suffer. That realization does not promote a passive attitude, but a healthy attitude towards suffering in the world. And with that a solution. This unhealthy attitude towards suffering also makes it easier to pass dissatisfaction with life on to your environment: your environment consciously hurts you, is narrow-minded, superficial, etc. etc.

I sincerely hope that this site does not fall into a dual image of "enlightened" people and "narrow-minded" people. With that you fall into a pit of human alienation that has been entered much more often by groups of people.

        1. @haushofer

people suffer and will always suffer, how do you know? describe that suffering if you like, I want to understand exactly what you are talking about.

and with that a solution, since suffering will always exist according to you, I am curious about what that solution entails or could entail.

I am genuinely interested in your response, and I feel that I do share some of your fears about falling into divorce.

on the other hand, i suspect that germen sees humans as a product of experience, which means that you don't have to dismiss them as inferior, but rather that they can be lifted to a higher level.

        2. Good comment this. Suffering is indeed part of life. This is more evident in Eastern philosophy than in the contemporary Western approach. Suffering is indeed part of life. However, this is generally seen as a weakness in our Western society. In recent decades, we have been conditioned through marketing to be a consumer and that society is makeable. We have to be successful in work to buy that nice car and that house. Acquiring social status is important. Indeed, I agree that we have forgotten to learn to suffer. Something that is very useful in these times of shrinkage and destruction of old social structures and systems where we are used. What we think is normal.

        3. @haushofer
What a beautiful and clear insight. For me it gets to the heart of the 'great slide', a pain-avoiding society ends in an empty and compassion-less existence.
          @visionair
I now visit your site daily. And really enjoy your efforts to inform and raise awareness as many people as possible!
For years I have experienced the isolation that I had nowhere to go with my consciousness and my perspective on reality in my immediate environment in the Netherlands. Two years ago made the decision and now live in rural Sweden. That does not detract from the fact that I still feel a bond with the Netherlands.
Good luck with your important work!

  3. I agree with 100% behind the content of this message, but it will certainly not find its way without setbacks. People are lazy and that certainly also applies to thinking, which must be the first to change. Visionary can make people aware of how things can be done differently in terms of thinking and acting, the person who does not want to follow, costs too much energy to ultimately keep dragging along. After all, it is mainly a choice that one makes, the responsibility of which cannot be passed on to those who are seriously working towards a better future for everyone. Change is needed, otherwise we will get stuck as humanity. Good article Germen, now wait and see what kind of cooperation can come about, in consultation with everyone who wants to participate in this, I am curious. ;)

  4. In the article about the company form of the site, I thought of some kind of movement, but it was not among them, so I'm afraid it will be seen as a kind of sect with strange ideas. At least 25 years ago you were taken for a fool with these kinds of ideas.

    1. In a sect you also have a cult leader, the dogmas have been described and firmly established by a few faithful. This while with visionary individually, you can each describe your own opinions and insights, with the same right and the same impact, provided that it is logically substantiated. This system works completely democratically, but without a leader who indicates how something should be done. Changes in the form of ideals therefore take place on the basis of logical, substantiated support and contradiction. In other words; so we are all visionary, but also human. We also make mistakes, and in our opinion are prepared to listen to logical contradiction / advocacy. Visionary therefore has a direction that can be continuously controlled by everyone, at any time. The articles are written through the advocacy and initiative of the participants (you and everyone else), but remain democratically influenced by everyone else, in terms of content or texts. What's wrong with that?

        1. In hindsight I now notice a misinterpretation of your words, apologies on my part. I was too tired, so make mistakes. See you tomorrow.

        2. Whisks who want to label negatively on everything that falls outside their framework, you will still keep and eat energy.

          Sleep tight.

  5. Actually, there is nothing new under the sun. Indeed, the time seems to be right for the next next phase of humanity. Something that is an ongoing process. The past 60 to 70 years have been successful, stable and experienced growth for the Western world. Now there is a system crisis of some essential systems on which we depend, such as our current money system. In that case visionary people are indeed needed to think about and to be busy with perspectives to move forward as humanity. You could indeed dismiss this article as evangelical. But that also limits you. It is now very important to dare to dream and to dare to use your imagination to move forward. If you look at human history, it is incredible what we have achieved. It therefore indicates that they do indeed have a lot of potential. But you have to dare to see and use it. By following your own path and not acting like a sheeple.

In essence a good article. I see it as sort of a vision and mission statement. I am therefore curious what this online underground visionary movement will bring. We live in exciting times with interesting challenges. Do you come along or do you stand still? It is not for news that you also see initiatives such as these arise everywhere. At least if you have an eye for it. And it wasn't going to be anything either. Then the people behind this site have at least tried it. I see it as an interesting journey and am curious where this will end. This site may well achieve more than some people think. Perhaps also what the people behind this site had expected 2 years ago. Indeed, the era of the visionary man seems to have been born again.

  6. It is our birthright and our sacred commission to love ourselves and our fellowmen as ourselves, thus creating a world around us that does justice to the human dignity of ourselves and others.
what is birthright? how can you show me what you describe above?

Most of us live in an environment of narrow-minded people who don't understand us, don't want to understand us because that would erode the very foundations of our existence.
    Yes

Each generation has been better off than the generation before them and the best time for mankind is yet to come.
I don't want that best time to come, because that means that nothing will come better. Unless someone can teach me that stopping progress is positive for us, I don't want that best time to come.

We are now waiting for the social platform to come online on which we can collaborate and shape our community of Visionaries. On behalf of all, we call on you to join in and think about how we can transform this world into a more sustainable, better and more humane place.

    I do want to participate.

  7. Starting from this: “The aim of the second phase is to arrive at a group of people who do not think in terms of limitations, but in terms of possibilities.I will be happy to contribute ideas.

To get ahead of things to come, I would like to ask you to read the following (pdf document) without any obligation:
    http://lenr-canr.org/acrobat/RothwellJthefuturem.pdf

Enjoy the future. it's the only one we have!

  8. quote: "…. The time of these people is over and the time when people like us will determine the future has come…."
The new Ubermensch? Very scary this!

  9. There is nothing wrong with wanting to think “out of the box” unless this leads to an attitude (and that danger is always lurking) in which the “thinkers” start to feel more than those who do not think they think or are narrow-minded as indicated. . History shows where this can lead.

        1. Then the law of the jungle will prevail, the law of the fittest.
That is a bit too right for my taste.

  10. This all sounds very nice, but still 2 notes:
    - Your only birthright is to die at some point :)
    - Is society's agenda really determined by the group of people who write and launch ideas here? For example, how many of the authors writing here are in positions of power? How many have contacts with people in positions of power? What exactly happens to the ideas that are launched here? Is there a follow-up, for example towards politics? Is it just nice talk on a website or in a discussion group or is something really happening with it?
These are questions that require an answer …… ..

    1. It must eventually become a new political wind that more and more people can agree with, I think, then it will become increasingly powerful.

      1. Yes, and that will be a joint job for everyone who wants to do it. For that you need publicity, without being known as a magazine, as being moderately biased against certain groups. Undoubtedly, this magazine is being watched, lashing out too much at certain influential groups, making them unwilling to listen to useful initiatives. That phenomenon is then called, being for it to be against it. An opponent can become a supporter, but then you should not try to spawn them with salt in the exposed wounds. You work on the future together with everyone on this planet. We have all made mistakes, current practice shows that, so talking with an open mind works for everyone, violence has never worked, that has been proven.
