Buitenaards wezen claimt copyright
Toen Douwe nog vaak op Visionair.nl actief was, schreef hij vaak over Bashar, een gechannelde space alien (volgens medium Darryl Anka uit het pittoreske, zonovergoten Californië) of een verzinsel (volgens schrijver dezes en andere sceptici). Onze webhost Versio mocht het volgende schrijven van de heer Anka ontvangen.

I am the owner of the copyright that is being infringed by a website, which I believe is being hosted by your server. I’m asking for your assistance in removing of a specific webpage violating my copyright.
My company has attempted to reach out to the website owner to request that they removed the infringing materials, to no success.

Nu is er echter een addertje onder het gras voor mijnheer Anka. Of liever, zeg maar gerust: een ratelslang. Hij claimt, dat niet hij, maar het buitenaardse wezen Bashar de auteur is van deze teksten. Dus mijnheer Anka even op dit feit gewezen, en de juridische implicaties die dit heeft volgens de Amerikaanse copyrightwet:

Likewise, the Office cannot register a work purportedly created by divine or supernatural beings, although the Office may register a work where the application or the deposit copy state that the work was inspired by a divine spirit,”Of course, when you really are the author or aforementioned texts, I swiftly will remove the text from the Visionair.nl webserver, as this would be a clear violation of copyright law and, more to the point, would make them totally irrelevant for Visionair.nl.
