Dear valued reader,
We are proud to announce that it is today, November 6, 2011, again a year ago is that Visionair.nl saw the light. Of course, a lot has changed since then. Here is an overview of how it went for all of us last year.
A year ago, Germen decided to start another initiative, this time in the form of a weblog. Although not much was published in the beginning, the goal was eventually to publish a few articles per day. After a few weeks, Germen decided to call Niek to support him again. Niek was interested in this. Since then, there have been some smaller and larger adjustments, such as adjusting the Logo and adding the Facebook and Twitter button under each message. Various readers (including Barry) have also actively supported Visionair.nl by promoting this initiative on external websites.
Monday January 31, 2011 Germen installed Google Analytics for Visionair.nl. Since then, statistics have been kept, some of which are interesting below:

We now have an average of around 2,000 visits per day, with a record of 2,565 visits on Monday, October 24. And the great thing is: there is an upward trend! To top it all off, we will also publish our thousandth message on Tuesday! We would of course like to thank all our readers for these great statistics and hope to provide you with visionary messages for a long time to come. We do not (yet) make money from it, so without our readers we would not have lasted a year. We are writing for you!
In the coming period you can expect some innovation from us: both Germen and Niek are not heroes in design, but we will try to give the site a slightly cooler look. We are also shifting our goals slightly. We would like to become a website where people can be creatively stimulated in all kinds of areas. This could include a daily visionary quote, a separate section for visionary videos, the visionary picture of the week and a weekly quiz. Of course we are also buzzing with long-term ideas, but these must first be better shaped before we can tell more about them.
Do you have ideas to make Visionair even better and more fun? Let it be heard!
Dear reader, thank you again and enjoy reading the coming months, years and…. oh well we are optimistic and visionary: the coming centuries!
